T.A.B. Academy’s overarching goal is to educate students from an early stage, ensuring they not only excel in theoretical understanding but also possess practical industry knowledge. This comprehensive approach prepares them for successful careers by equipping them with the right tools to make informed decisions in the dynamic field of tile manufacturing and usage.
As one of the leading tile manufacturers in Malaysia, Guocera is committed to elevating the standards and quality of tiles. In 2019, we established the Tiles & Beyond Academy (T.A.B. Academy) with the mission of enlightening and creating awareness among industry stakeholders about tiles, covering everything from material considerations to installation and maintenance. As tile materials undergo changes in size, technical specifications, and governmental requirements, T.A.B. Academy assumes the crucial role of educating industry players such as developers, influencers like architects and interior designers, contractors, and homeowners. Throughout the years, T.A.B. Academy, under the umbrella of TAB Talks, has conducted numerous training sessions, providing essential knowledge on tiles, including best practices, pitfalls to avoid, and proper installation and maintenance techniques.
The TAB Talks, in collaboration with government organisations and agencies such as CIDB (The Construction Industry Development Board), JKR and professional associations like the Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM), Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), and REDHA, organise insightful talks and training sessions. Additionally, T.A.B. Academy extends its training initiatives to university students specialising in interior design, architecture, and quantity surveyors. This outreach is part of our commitment to sharing practical insights with students as they explore materials in their studies. We go beyond theoretical knowledge, imparting technical expertise, insights into industry trends, and guidance on choosing the right tiles for specific applications.

Kenneth Tan Design Architect uploaded this project and it caught Guocera’s attention immediately. Rumah Kita is a shelter for women who have fallen pregnant out of wedlock or are victims of sexual assault. Their current kitchen facility was in bad shape and needed an upgrade. Guocera donated floor and tabletop tiles to this cause, and now Rumah Kita has a brand new kitchen setup.

Experience the joy of giving back through the nourishing taste of our bubur lambuk, generously shared with the community at Masjid Dato’ Haji Kamaruddin in March 2024. The humble porridge or ‘bubur lambuk’ is a symbol of the values of compassion, generosity, and solidarity that are central to the observance of Ramadan.
