Environmental Recognition MS ISO 14001:2004

Guocera Tile Industries Sdn. Bhd ( Kluang Operations) achieved MS ISO 14001 certification in recognition for its efforts in preserving the environment through a systematic Environmental Management System. The certification has also made 'Guocera' the first tile manufacturing company in Malaysia to receive this prestigious award.

 

    With the certification the company has implemented procedures and environmental management programs to segregate waste materials, reuse of materials, conservation of energy, reduction in air emissions and fulfillment of legal and statutory requirements.     The journey to achieve this certification has been long and challenging but rewarding at the same time. It has also increased workers' awareness on environmental preservation while promoting the practice of 3R - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. In addition to that, through the certification, we are also able to fulfill environmental requirements imposed by other countries.
